How will we provide internet access to the community?

The community will not be providing free or shared internet access. Instead, individuals will need to arrange their own internet service. One option available is the Straight Talk 5G LTE Home Internet service. This service uses a router that connects to the 5G or LTE network, providing high-speed internet access. There is a one-time cost of $99.99 for the router, and users can sign up for the service to enjoy home internet. Each household will need to purchase their own plan and equipment to get connected.

Please keep in mind that you can share your internet with others and and share the cost for the “one time cost” and the card. Example below:

If 40 people share the one-time equipment cost of $99.99 and the monthly $45 plan, here’s the updated breakdown:

1. One-Time Equipment Cost:

• Total cost: $99.99
• Shared by 40 people: $99.99 ÷ 40 = $2.50 per person

2. Monthly Service Plan:

• Monthly plan cost: $45.00
• Shared by 40 people: $45.00 ÷ 40 = $1.13 per person

Total Cost Per Person (for the first month):

• One-time equipment cost: $2.50
• Monthly plan cost: $1.13
• Total: $2.50 + $1.13 = $3.63 per person for the first month

After the First Month:

• After the initial equipment cost is paid, each person would only pay $1.13 per month for the service.

So, for the first month, each person would contribute $3.63, and after that, they would pay $1.13 per month for the service.
